The Plank door is probably the most favoured Je-Trae design. The natural beauty of the solid oak planks make this design traditional and contemporary at the same time.

When a natural finish is used, i.e. a stain, the door faces are made from individual lengths of timber (Light Oak, Dark Oak, Mahogany or Teak) at 20mm thick. This allows natural, individual movement between the timber planks caused by changing weather conditions.

Timber available; Light Oak, Dark Oak, Mahogany & Teak

Painted versions of this door are made from one solid sheet of timber with grooves routed into it. This method creates a smooth, stable surface which will not cause the paint to crack. Paint colours are chosen from the RAL Classic range (approx. 250 colours).

Accessories for the Plank door include studs which can be applied to the face of the doors to create a truly authentic, rustic and traditional design.

As standard the internal face of the door is a smooth board without grooves, however this can be upgraded to match the exterior.

Glazing panels can be added to the door in a variety different styles. Glazing units are double glazed and beaded externally. A special glass lock prevents the glass from being removed from the outside, making a secure product.
